Most needed tools for DIY e30 Mechanic?

I was wondering which tools are most used when doing maintanance and mods to e30s?

a good metric ratchet set (deep sockets come in handy too, especially 13mm), various screwdrivers/pliers/wrenches, multimeter, dremel, floor jack, jackstands. there's tons of other stuff, but i used the stuff listed above almost on a daily basis this past summer.

One thing I have learned is that having a nice metric set especially a 13... and you know what, your BMW wrench set comes handy as well.

a tool box full of patience...they dont break down much haha and when they do they are pretty easy to work on...MrM3 pretty much summed it up though

ive got the floor jack, one jackstand, and my bmw toolkit. thats all ive needed so far.

a set of female torx sockets, e6-e18 maybe. 17mm allen wrench or socket, 3-10mm allen wrenches or sockets, various other misc things. you can get a lot done with a standard metric socket set and wrenches, but euro cars tend to use uncommon bolts here and there.
