| Moonroof questions 325i e30
I just picked up a nice E30.
The moonroof was giving me some trouble, and I think I've identified the issues, but I coule use some assistance from the group - perhaps someone who has a moonroof and can take a looke at theirs - or has a service manual...
1) When the moonroof is positioned with the back end tilted up, I can see a spring, but its only attached at one end. Its not intuitive where the other end goes. Can anyone have a look at theirs and let me know what they see? Picture would be great - and are they on both sides?
2) I am missing one of the Torx bolts that attach the moonroof glass frame to the cassette, like the one in the second photo. How can I describe one of these to get one ordered? Any suggestions?
