Ive been running an Monday-Night 02 chat event for the BMW 2002 FAQ - Home website for a long time (off and on) and thought it might be cool to do the same thing for the E30 peeps.
The 02 chat is oriented towards newbie questions, and since I and Tritoch (the other #E30 mod) are both e30 newbs ourselves, we thought it would be cool to extend that same idea to the #E30 room as well.
Anyway, all you have to do is click this link to find the #E30 chat room on the Welcome to BMW Tips www.BMWTips.com server system. You can either join via the java chat page or by downloading and installing mIRC (the much-better option IMO).
Its on for tonight! I'll be home and the kid tucked in by 8:30 EST or so, and I usually crash out about 1am, again EST. Tritoch just got a new TV so he may or may not be active.
If you wanna participate, login, say hi, and chill for a while. People may not respond or reply to you right away, but it can be a fun and informative experience (chatting). Like anything else it is what you make of it...
BMW E30 Akebono Ceramic Pads Brembo or Zimmerman Rotor Kits
We just started adding several parts for the E30 to our site. Here's an example of some brake kits that we can't keep on the shelf. I will try to come tonight too so if there are any other parts that owners are having trouble getting I'll do my best to get them and at the lowest price for Bimmerwekz members.
Here's a link for brakes, but click on left hand categories for other parts:

I paid less than $115 for a full set of front Mintex pads and genuine Balo rotors, shipping included, although i stupidly bought the mintexes off an ebay seller (bekkers) before I realized az.com had the same ones for $1 less, and would have shipped for free with the rotors. I LOVE teh az!
$115 is a good price for Front Mintex pads and Balo rotors. We have the mintex pads also but seems like we can't keep the Akebono pads on the shelf right now. Feedback I've been getting on the ceramics has been very good, they seem to like stopping power and cleaner tires from no brake dust. We sell:
Front Brembo Brake Discs (Left and Right)
Front Akebono Ceramic EURO Brake Pads
Brake Pad Wear Sensor Front
Silicone Anti Squeal Lubricant
Price of kit is around $139.
Keep the chat rooms going...I'll spread the word!

2002s'...I've owned 4 of them over the years...2 1976s and 2 1974s...killer cars...my last 2002 was the culmination of years of searching...In 1981 I bought a silver/blue 1976 2002 with no a/c and a stick with 54K on it for $3800. Thing was only like 1900 lbs. Put all the cool cheap aftermarket parts on it like Weber, Monza, Bilstein and beat the living crap out of this thing, in a very decent manner, for many years. I love the 2002, they should remake the damn thing with the new rust proofing they have now....no power anything...140 horse on less than 1 ton....incredible agility...I tell my wife that her 1988 325i is an overbloated 2002. Same feel kind of, but not as sporty, more comfortable however......
