M42 Question!

and0pand0 Neutral Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Car: Posts: 50 Photos:	M42 Question! Okay, so, the M42 has adjustable intake/exhaust cam gears stock. I was wondering how to go about adjusting them to get a little more performance out of my cams? I have read that if you adjust the intake cam gear to 5 degrees advanced and leave the exhaust cam alone, you can get some more ponies! Anyone know how to do this? I don't wanna screw something up!

bad man working 2nd Gear Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Car: Posts: 358 Photos:	The M42 never had adjustable valve timing the only thing it was DISA adjustable inlet manifold length this is done via a flap that is on or off
