i have an '86 325es, 5-speed i want to put a m3 motor in it. i was wondering if anyone has any advice about the engine swap if you think i should do it, or anything that you would have to say on topic of the 325es.

What two extra cylinders? He already has a 6cyl in his car. Also if you go with the E36 M3 engine you need to make sure it has an OBD 1 engine management system.

if the wriring system has to be changed to OBD-1 or OBD-2 in my car for the m3 motor does it come with the swap as does the tranny. if not what would be the better to go with
it is the best thing i have ever bought... when i drive on the parkway it gives me a warning well over 2 miles in advance. And i go by the cops at 3 mph below the speed limit jsut to piss them off. It saved my life so many times its not even funny
an S62! that's a monster there is no way that i could get a V8 like that in my "86 325es. it would be bad ass but i think that i am going to go with the e36 motor swap it would be fun as hell to do or say the hell with it and buy a new car.
