how much can i shave the m20 head just curious and how do they respond to higher compression?

Don't shave it past the stock spec or you will run into cam timing issues unless you run and adjustable cam gear.

what he said ^ you really want to avoid shaving it if possible unless you plan on compensating for it with the cam gear

Max allowed for maching off the head is 0.3mm.

ehh just double stack some head gaskets and use loads of RTV sealant...

haha no actually im talking about thousands of an inch LOL mm mite aswell save the time and smash holes in every piston now

ahh you should be fine as 8 thousandths of an inch is 0.2032 millimeters...wouldn't recommend much more than that

My head is leaking and i am always putting in water. Cant see anything visually. Could it be coming out of the exhaust? Can i double stack a set of head gaskets in the interim as i dont know how badly warped the head is.
