Is the e30 with the m20 engine a dohc or a sohc? I had to replace the valve gasket today and i noticed it had two cams. Am i wrong? Here's a picture to brighten things up.

Diplomacy is saying "nice doggy" until you find a rock.</span>
I live my life one quarter mile at a time, and for those 23 or more seconds I'm free.
Of course i won't do it myself. I plan to do it with my friend. If its to hard, i will hold off on it. If its moderatly easy then i'll get the tools i need.

I wouldn't do it yourself if you aren't comfortable under the hood of your car. It is a VERY precise andjustment. It needs to be between 10 and 12 thou (or 10-12 thousandths or an inch). You also need to make sure that you secure the adjustment back properly. If you go less than that, you will break your rockers. If you go looser, they will have the well known m20 "ticking" sound.
The pic below is when I broke a rocker arm on my old m20 engine. Not a fun job to replace rockers!
