M20 6 cyl Motronic ign swap to Transistorised coil ign

Gidday all

Looking for information about a job im going to be doing on an E30 M20 2.0ltr 6 cylinder engine, i am swapping the current Motronic (DME) ignition system (Cam-mounted dizzy) for the older Transistorized coil ignition system (TCI-I) side of block-mounted dizzy, it is being used in a race application.

Any advice on things i will need to know would be handy, i have all the workshop manuals and have researched removal of all parts, im just wondering if i'll have to re-wire any sensors to the ecu or anything like that and if the block mounted dizzy will fit straight in after bung is removed and No.1 cyl is at TDC.
