We have snow here already...
So I tried my car on ice for the first time. And suprizingly noticed that when one of the wheels is on slippery surface the other is pulling the car out. I am almost sure I have and LSD.... But is there any easy way to check that?

do a burnout...if both tires smoke then you have an lsd...if one tire smokes then you have an open diff

jack up your car so that both rear wheels are off the ground, spin one of your wheels one direction and look at the direction of the wheel on the other side. if it is spinning the same direction you have lsd, if it is spinning opposite direction you dont.
or you could do it the fun way and do a burn out, which wouldn't be recommended by many but non the less pretty fun

Taurus is front wheel drive, which is very rarely limited slip
check to see if you got the "S" stamps on ur differential. that should guarantee it! it should be a yellow S just printed on you differential

funny though.....its not nessicarily true. i have a 91 318is and a 94 325is and both lack the LSD. yes, im sure....
but.....my 325is WILL smoke both tires.......hmmmmmmm.
