Alright, so now that I've got my idle taken care of I want to move on to my suspension. I've looked over many posts about these Eibach lowering springs and the different types of struts/shocks people are interested in, but i'm still not confident in what i want to buy.
I mainly only drive my car to go crusing, occasionally i'll take my car out to the back roads and work it. But mainly i am looking for a nice smooth ride but about an 1.25 - 1.5 lower for better handling and looks, the Eibach springs look like a good way to go, but i dont know what struts/shocks i should buy for a reasonable price that would suit the springs. Let me know if anyone has any suggestions
eibach sucks except in the race line of springs honestly...
Sounds to me like you need H&R Sports with Bilstein Sports or Yellow Konis
you will be happy as a clam with that ^ tightens up the suspension a ton but still retains ride quality..

H&R springs $250
Bilstein sports not HD $400
St bars 52010 kit 22mm 19mm $325
shock mounts $50
fron end links $50
Labor $1000 LOL
Flat through the turns ...priceless...
Get full coilovers if you can maybe? $$
ground control
or Bilstein kit
or H&R
Tein?
or Suspension Techniqes springs (I have em)
Konis's good dont get anything other than Bilsteins or Koni's maybe Sachs
ST or HR sway bars (19mm v 18mm rear)
reinforce rear bar mounts (some welding) (Turner bolt through bracket up through trunk expensive though $250 or something)
weld new reinforcing tabs on the arm
I'm getting ST bars 19 22 mm next week once tax refund gets here LOL
it comes with adjustable rear end links. I'll replace front end links with Meyle maybe? or adjustables hard to find adjustables for front. Any one know of good ones
Ireland E has some?
New shock mounts probably needed
adjustable fronts maybe
Ireland engineering Tein Turner UUC flying brick...
dont use stock replacement in rear use upgraded ie Turners repair shop version or better
stress bars, optional
I like the look BMP's front and rear.
Racing dynamics OK too.
Good luck let us know how it goes
PS Post some pics of this monster!!! I wanna see it!

So I've decided that I'm gonna go with the bilstein sport shocks and struts and get the H&R spring set..its about a 600 dollar investment. I should be able to order them in a couple of weeks
i have koni yellows. they suck. handle isnt that great and they are bouncy as shit in the freeway.
you clearly have no clue what you are talking about...shocks dont cause "bounce" they dampen bounce...so if you are having bounce issues turn them up, or else they are blown, and throw away whatever crappy springs you have
for the money koni yellows are the greatest shock/strut ever made....and NO ONE will argue that.

I have the H&R 1.3inch drop springs, My mechanic says my struts are fine so I didn't change them. He did say if I wanted some more 'feel' I should think about nylon bushings.
take them out, push them down, and if they either offer no resistance or dont return back up they are blown...
first just try adjusting them, if they truly are koni yellows they have adjusters on top and they should have come with the tool
turning it right turns up the dampening, turning them left softens them, sounds like they are too soft if you are getting bounce, to i would turn them up

y do you have stock springs in the back?..any way if u can get the full ground-control suspension get..IE has good sway bars too.and a sparco strut bar up from and a strut bar in the rear is good too..thats all just my opinion
