Love that Ix in the winter! - BMW Forum

well we got a little snow last night. I had to dig my wifes e36 is out this morning. That car hates the snow!! But not the good old ix. She had snow jamed up her drivers side from the plows. Good barely get into it.. Did that matter to her...nope. Put it in first and yank right out. She's bmw's ultimate snow driving machine.

any other ix's out thier getting a little snow fun already this year?

I was gonna sell it to buy a convertible..but as bad as the e36 is in the snow im glad I kept her. ....although I would consider all offers.

I believe magazine said only about 1000 black 2 door ix's made it in the country that year.

ix is good but rear wheel drive is a little more fun when the snow is not to bad

I work in harrisburg..so it probobly wouldn't be smart to have two cars that suck in the snow. I'm asuming that an e30 convertible sucks just as bad as an e36 in the snow.

I drive a 89 325i convertable......and look how cold it was where I live the other day......with nothin' but a thin layer of canvas between me and the outside -- 20 BELOW ZERO is pretty dadgum cold!
