I think if you go to the dealership with your pink slip and a form of identification they will cut you a key, or order one. Since its not a chipped key it should cost too much.
as for that light its an inspection light. You can reset it yourself. There is a DIY on bimmer diy, but the site seems to broken at the moment. Search for service interval reset e30, and you will find it.
They also sell a tool for it if you are not up for the diy approach.
