Well the first problem with my bimmer ocured today. my wife was going to pick up the kids and she heard a shrill sound and pulled over. Looks like the belt poped off ...didn't break at least. I had her towed in. I miss her already. It's the belt closest to the engine. Hope it's not the timing belt! ghead It was running fine when i got to it...just screeching and smoke comeing from where the belt was rubbing. Like I said I didnt' want to chance driving it so I had it towed.

e30's dont have serpentine belts...just VBelts or "Fan belts" as they are called...they only control water pump, fan, alternator, AC, and power steering...i removed them all accept the water pump and alternator...hah made maintance easy...
