loaded question (new car)

Ok, I just bought this car ('88 325) and I have been fooling around with it trying to straighten out erratic idle and fast idle. I found that I had the wrong AFM on it so I decided to just run through the whole thing and do all the maintenance and replace all the hoses and stuff. When I went to check the resistance on the injectors, I found that it was approx. 16 ohms when my car is supposed to be 2-3 ohms. I checked the part number and they are for '84-down 325e's. I found that my TPS is not working correctly and I found several leaky vac hoses. I also found the sensor wire broke thats on the #6 plug wire. I found my throttle body stop screw has been messed with and backed all the way out and the butterfly gets hung up and hard to open from completely closed. So I have my work cut out for me here and I am sure I will find more as I go.....

Question 1:
what are the differences in the injector out puts? Do I need the correct ones?

Question 2:
How important is that sensor on the #6 plug wire?

Question 3:
Is there a huge difference in a 325 and 325i AFM? Do I need to change it?

Question 4:
I found the coolant hoses that connect to the throttle body have been removed and both hoses have been plugged. Is that a problem? What was the reason for doing that, there is no obstruction in the TB??

Question 5:
Is it easier to remove the head to get the manifold and injectors off or can I do it without removing the head?

Sorry for all the questions in 1 post but I need to get it all out and see what I need to do. I have thought about doing a 2.7i swap since I have the super eta and all the electronics there. I need to replace so many parts anyways. It looks like I have some oil leaking out around the head gasket under #1 cylinder so I may just take it off while im in there to fix that.

first off welcome...

next, the only one my dead mind can tackle right now is this...

You do not need to remove head. The injectors are built into the base of the intake manifold so once that is off you can do whatever you need.
