Hey, I have an early-style E30. I'm slowly tidying up the car after a couple of owners who just drove it and didn't pay much attention to it. Now I've just found some later-style lights (the 'fish eye' style) on the cheap and I've heard that the projector design is more effective than the earlier ones. For the sake of a little money (£10) this might be worth doing, but I'm not sure if the later style will fit my older car?

Do any of you guys know if the fittings are the same or did the bolt/screw locations for fitting the light units change in the facelift too?

they will fit, but there is some re-wiring required. nothing too complicated from what ive read
