Light bulb for the auto shifter

Lights out!! Anyone know where the light bulb is located on a 1990 e30 for the automatic shifter. I am talking about the shifter between the front seats. Also any directions on how to remove the console to get to the bulbs will be appreciated. Thanks to all.

If you mean the shift indicator light, it's easy. Stick your fingers into the shifter slot under the right of the shifter and pop that plastic pannel out, take a screw driver and remove the two screws and take the shifter slector plate. To the left of the shifter there is a little hole, under that is the bulb, put your car in netural (don't for get to set the parking brake) just pull it out from the botom of it's housing. I belive the number is a 2112 for the bulb or W1.2W.
