Question LCD cd player ??

Ok i would like to get a lcd flip up cd player for my e30 but i was looking at how it would fit. It would fit in the dash but i was thinking that when the lcd screen comes out of the player it will probly hit the windshield wiper handel thinger. Is it possible for one to work properly or will i have to do some modifing?

Skate...most of the aftermarket radios you can buy will not be tall enough to hit the windshield wiper handle. The largest flip up i have seen for in-dash applications is about 6 inches.

LDS...why not get an aftermarket HU? I had an Aiwa that had two different color settings for the display. Blue, and you guessed it, Red.

That's what i meant...most aftermarket Flip up screens ae only about 4 to 6 inches tall. Shouldn't have any problem slippin one in.

It shouldn't...I have seen it done in mags before, with no visible modification to the column.
