silversled from chicago....have a question (right off the bat of course). Would anyone know what the little springs are that are located right below where the heater blower securing strap clips in are/do? There are like 2 or 3 tiny springs maybe 1-2 inches long. Thanks for any help

a 1988 325iC....silver/blk....180K miles...excellent (I think) condition....just need a blower fix at this point, everything else is outstanding....thanks...
realoem has schematics, you may want to search through it and see what it is
