the thing with the arow pointing to it is your torque converter and your flywheel will be behind that, so you need to take your torque converter off. and then there should be a few bolts that you have to take off and then the fly wheel will just slide off. the timing, well if you have motronic i didn't look in your profile to see what year of car you have but im guessing if you had the computerized timin then you wouldn't be asking. so adjusting your distrubutor or rotating it will adjust your timing you will need a timing light availably at napa, or lordco or any other store like that. if you havn't done it before and dont have a friend who knows how i advise going to a mechanic and getting him to do it and show you at the same time so next time you can do it yourself.
