| Hey guys,
I tried looking for the answer to my question in the older threads to no avail.
I recently purchased a 1986 325E to mess around with. Right now, the primary concern is getting the exterior polished and replacing a few pieces of missing trim. (If anyone knows where I can get window trim at, it'd be greatly appreciated.)
The only problems with the car until last night have been purely cosmetic... rough seats, door handles broken, missing boot on the gear shift, things of that nature.
But last night, when I turned the car off, the On Board Computer and my radio wouldn't turn off. I fiddled around with multiple buttons and jiggled the key to make sure I was in the right position, but I didn't have any luck.
This morning, my battery was dead because I overlooked simply unhooking it last night.
The whole problems very frustrating, and I'm hoping it's going to be one of those "Doh!" fixes. I'm not much of a car person, so if any of you guys know the answer, it would be appreciated in layman's terms.
Thanks in advance. |
