hey i found this intake thing it says it will fit an 86 325es but im not sure it says it will get rid of the stock intake box and all the sencors will fit if anyone knows about 325es intakes take a look and let me know if it will fit heres the site http://www.bmpdesign.com/product-exec/prod.../category_id/43

from what i have heard and experience intake's don't make a difference on our cars you just get the induction sound thats it better to keep box and go with K & N i have that and stock box works great. you could thou get rid of high beam light and run a intake thru there bimmin 88 has it done talk to him bout that

It does fine in the rain.....the connections are not clamped so most of the water drains before the Air Box.....and the Air Box has a small drain hole itself. I wasn't sure how it would perform in the rain.....but I am very pleased. 70+mph in heavy down poor with no problems. Once i really thought about it the Air Box is pretty volumus and one would have to hit a small swimming pool to fill it up enough to HydroLock.
