Hello,
Yesterday i purchaed an '85 318i 2-door. I plan to install halogen lamps and am trying to find a place to put a switch. To the left of the headlamp switch there is a nother switch. When i switch it on nothing happens. Does anyone know what this switch is for, and can i use it as a switch for the halogen lamps i plan to install?

thanks
jay

If you look in around you light compartment, you see the connctions where the stock fog lights would normally hook up. Just cut the boot off and you can connect the lights easily and don't have to cut up the dash for a swich

Have you checked to see if it's your REAR fog light switch?
