Instrument cluster lights?

There are two lights that light all the gauges and my left one has been working off and on.

I bought what I thought was 2 replacement bulbs with sockets...and when I pulled the cluster today I noticed that I bought the wrong bulbs. The bulbs I bought are for all the other backlit lights...(signals, high beams, oil, etc)

I just searched bavauto and I can't seem to find a light that replaces the two bigger lights that light the whole cluster...

Can someone point me to where I might find these?

do I need one that comes in the socket? or can I remove the old bulb from the old socket and put new bulb in the old socket?

the mini bulbs that light everything else in the cluster come with a new bulb and socket...

or next time if you have an oreillys auto parts store near, go there. I got all my bulbs from there. cheaper too.

buy them separetly, (no housing) or ask for side marker bulbs, they are the same.

I found them at autozone today...

light number 194...for $2.99...

wish I had known that before I spent $12+shipping from bavauto for the wrong bulbs...

good look, next time for minor stuff like that look a local parts stores. The same goes for stuff like water pumps, alternators, and fan clutches. The reason being is that you don't spend a lot of loot $$$ for shipping for replacements and down time.

^^^ yea, I just assume that no one local carries anything for BMW's because they are very rare around here...especially one from the 80's...
