I recently had an excellent experience with two service providers in Calgary where I just moved.

I have a 1998 323 ic Convertible (my baby for 14 years In Ontario) and I needed a new used engine.

I found one through http://www.nationwideautorecycling.com/- the service from Mike was phenomenal.

It was installed here by Parm at Motorwerkes in Calgary. I have put 4,000 kms on it without one issue- it runs like a kitten.

Glad to hear you had an excellent experience with Parm. Unfortunatley if you google his shop, some of the reviews can be hit or miss. Some people have had quite good experiences and some state they had quite poor experiences.

Now, since your from Calgary you should check out Project Technik - An Alberta BMW Car Club and Community Forum. Its an Alberta based BMW online community. Provides a lot of local information including meets and cruises, and a lot of knowledgable guys that are local.
