Ok well everymorning when i start the car the idle slows like 300 and the RPM drops and comes back up. It does it everyonce in a while at a light or stop sign.
Is it cold engine or what?
I was also thinking it could be that vacuum thingy?

I live my life one quarter mile at a time, and for those 23 or more seconds I'm free.
when i bought my car, it needed long crank time when cold... but then i put in the fuel pump pressure check valve from BMW that i found out about here and it sort-of helped. after few weeks, it began starting really quick in the morning (and there wasnt gas odor smell as i could smell it before it began starting perfectly.. funny) moreover, even the cold start valve works now i guess since it revs up the engine to about 1600 rpm for a couple of minutes when not in gear... but then sometimes (and this happens only in the morning when it is cold) the rpm revs between 1000-1500 up and down which did not happen before even though the IDLE was never perfect...
so is this that the car just started acting properly but there is still something wrong with the idle control module???
