Idle Speed Off

Regarding other threads on idle speed...

I removed the sensor just behind the coolant temp probe and bridged the terminals on this sensor with wire. The idle dropped from 1500 to 800. Later that day, the car would not start until I plugged this sensor back in. Does anyone know the part number as I cannot locate it. Thanks.

Stephen

Year and model, plus if you can post an image of the sensor you bridged.
