| Ideas on idle fluctuation?
so i went to start my car this morning and it started right up just fine and i let it idle and warm up for a minute or so, as soon as i started to pull out of my driveway i felt the throttle give out and then come back with more than i was giving it, thats when it started to fluctuate the idle between 1000 and 2000 rpm whenever it was free of the drivetrain,this happened within a second because it was running fine just before i gave it gas. also when i start it up it speeds up to 2700 rpm and stays there for 20 seconds before it returns to fluctuating. i went back home and unplugged my ICV while it was running and that didn't do anything at all. i took the ICV off and it seems to be pretty clean inside, i dont know if it still works or not because i dont have a multimeter, i tightened all of my hoses and returned the ICV and it still runs the same way. is there any other thing that might cause this? can i run any tests or anything that would help me? any input or reasonable idea would be greatly appreciated. |
