My headlights suck. I went from stock sealed beams (bad), to a set of nice looking clear glass H4's (even worse). Even with all 4 low beams on, I still cant see, it seems like my fog lights do more than my headlights.
Does anybody have or know of a decent set of headlights so I can see where I'm going?

I picked up a set of used projectors with the "city light" (not smileys) on ebay with eruo grills for like $190 shipped. They're WAY brighter than my old sealed beams, look cool to. hooking up really wasn't any problem, just played around with them till I had it figured out.
Love the my new projector lights :-). I have a question though... How do you wire them up so they dont turn off when you turn on your high beams but at the same time the high beam indicator wont stay on all the time? Right now i joined both the low and high beam wire together so they are on wither the highs are on or not, but the highbeam indicator is on all the time.

How much did you pay Joe? I hate the lights on my baby, and that would be a good investment, once I put her back together!

I got the set (buckets, hi and low lights) without bulbs on ebay for around 50 bucks. I found some 9006 low beam bulbs on ebay for like 9 bucks, 130 watts!... that cant be legal, but o well. They look sooo much cooler than the sealed beams and perform better at night too.

how easy is the installation??? im always trying to do simple things that make a pretty big difference in looks and what not..my lights are fine..but id love brighter ones.. i have an '89 325i, not sure if this falls into the later models you were talking about...or maybe i should just put in new, brighter, maybe with a blue tint bulbs?? electrical = not my thing.
Blue tinted bulbs dont make anything brighter, they actually have less light than standard bulbs. Since you have an 89 model you probably have projector lights already.

H4's FTL! Didn't see any noticeable improvement when I tried them. Just one man's opinion though.
