I think i Blew my Transmission

I was driving around the block like an hour ago and i felt my car shfting like shit I went on the main street and as soon as i hit 60km/h it just freezes and wont shirt up it starts to redline

should i just change it or is it a minor problem because i have a spare transmission off my brothers totalled bmw

p.s its automatic

i just opened the hood today and saw that the linkage cable for the transmission was off of the throttle body does anyone know how to reattch it to the transmission cuz i think it detached because their is a lot of extra cable coming into the hood from the transmission.

I lost my repair book and was eondering if anyone can scan me a page of the linkage cable from the throttle to the transmission.

and that was exactly what i was looking for. well i am sorry to let u guys down but since i have an extra automatic transmission ill just dropit in. my mechanic told me is messed up internally so i haveto scrap that transmission.

guess i can have fun now sice it drives from 0 to 60 andif i dont ease up on the gass i can go over. lol i am goingto haveso much fun f***ingup this transmission
