Hey guys, this is my first post....Not going to be a fun one...
Bought an 87' 325i last night. Convertible. The guy said it was having some isses starting as he didn't drive it all that much (toy), so the first few times, it took a second, but started right up. Now I know how tough these little cars are, as I had an 84' that just went and went forever...So, when I came across this thing, in great shape, with a wonderfully strong drive train, motor, transmission, interior and body, for $2500, I jumped at the guy. Got him down to $1500 and picked the ride up.
Go to the store last night, and come back out. The thing won't start. Tree lights up, but nothing. No noise, no start, nothing.
Go back this morning. This thing starts right up. Off and on about 20 times. No problem. I'm thinking it's something to do with the starter or starter relay....Also, the two rear windows won't roll up now that they're down. We rolled them down last night when the previous owner was showing me how to take the top down.
So, I guess I need some advice on where to go from here. I also need to get my hands on a free copy of a download able service manual....
Problem is, I recently laid my motorcycle down and bought this to commute with so I can put y bike on the track and not have to worry about stupid stuff like gravel...My bike's in no commuting condition right now and I have to move 25 miles from where I live now because I just got marred and my wife and I are moving n together...UGH...Help, Please. Thanks - Blink
