| Hello, im trying to set the timing on my 1984 318i, and i cant seem to find the timing marks. If you could describe to me where to find them that would be great. because when i give it 0-half throttle, my car does good, and half to full throttle, it dies, so i think maybe the timing is off, i dunno. it worked fine before i did a tune up, but now i have like no power. I made the mistake of relying on chiltons for the firing order, but the chiltons is diff from what my car really is. so i dont have any idea what the firing order even is, i have a good guess though, because like i say, it runs fine at idle, and 0 to half throttle. but i dont regret taking off all the plug wires at once, becasue im a big fan of the best way to learn something, is through personal experience. any help would be great, thanks.
