ok so first off let me say that i am only 18 yrs old and that i dont have that much automotive schooling under my bet beside wat i was taught in my automotive class in highschool but i will hopefully be learning more in the near feture ....
so now to my question its about turbos.. i was readin in my text book that the turbo uses gases from the exhaust to work the turbo.. and i sorta kno a lil bit about how turbos work and wat not .. and i was reading something about the closer the turbo is to the exhaust manifold the more warmer gases it can use to make more power or wat not right? ok so i donno if any one has thought of this which im sure they have but would it be able to hook up a turbo right off the exhaust manifold so that it would get the gases directly instead of routing it to the turbo and lossing heat .... so if that would work would it make more power coming off the exhaust mainifld rather and the trurbo mounted somewhere else.. or is my question or thought just something stupid a beginner car enthuisiest like my self would ask??
so please let me kno wat you think of this even if it is good or bad i still want to hear it thank you
