i recently bought an 87 325 with the 2.7L eta engine in it. i wanted to do an i head swap, and im aware that you have to use custom pistons. but does anyone know exactly what compression pistons are needed?

I have the same car and am considering doing the same thing. Check out www.strictlyeta.net He is a young guy, but seems to know something about the eta engine.

it's not worth it to swap heads, you lose power, there was an awseome artical on it but it is gone now, i wish i had saved it

you lose power only if you have mismatched pistons.
