i have a wet trunk...

anybody know the main cause of leaks in the trunk ? i.m getting wet in the passenger side hole, then it's damp for a few days after.

already fixed my front passenger leak.

you might need to get a new trunk gasket but where exactly in the trunk is it wet at?

Try new taillight gaskets first. ~12.00 apeice.


After the first three hurricanes last year, my trunk had about a foot of water in it because of those gaskets!

also could be the sun roof drains in each corner. the tube coulda come off and its draining into the trunk...

oh, thats what those tubes are.

it only collects in the pass rear corner in that well, just to the right of the spare tire. everywhere else it seems ok.

BTW, i also had some water in my right rear tailight, i just removed it and rinsed out the entire tailight, 20 years of dead flies in there, :

I need help finding where I amtaking in water in front of my rear seat. I have raeplaced every seal i know to replace.

I replaced mine about 2 months ago.
Haven't had any problems since.

haha, i had that prob w/ my e30 too. took out the tail lights, ran a bead of silly cone, and let it set up to make my own gasket. no more problems.
