i cant open my trunk!!!

ya know how you have to unlock the trunk and then push the little button thing in to open it??? well, my is stuck all the way in and ive tried numerous times along with my dad to try to get it open and we cant seem to find out how. were thinkin its a safety feature or something but we have no clue whats going on. can anyone help?

I have this same problem with my 1980 BMW 323is. i think the latch might be stuck

My car did this to me at an Auto X meet. I just hit it few times and it popped back out. ghead best of luck with it.

If not, try some Liquid Wrench or something... never had this happen before.

oh, sorry for not replying...i did get it open, i just had to push it in and then turn the key...thanks to those of you who tried to help
