freddie is an unknown quantity at this point
the car is a UK 1990 325i.

currently the main head lights (not full beam) practically point at the floor, not good for night driving as you can imagine
as i go to adjust them i notice there is a cylindrical unit in place where the usual thumb screw adjustment is. these units have hydraulic hoses coming from them. i tried tracing them back but only get so far before needing to do a major strip down to get access.
there is also a rotational switch buy the drivers right leg to control it.


this system is obviously not working. does anyone know what powers this circuit, where it is?

mine is sure isn't hydrolic powered, you got yourself an interesting find, maybe aftermarket gear? or maybe its just somthing that came standard on UK cars... i duno ask a friend in uk
