How to tune up my 85 318i

Hey, can anyone help me out here. I've got an 85 318i that could use some tuning up. I've not really worked on cars much at all, but I understand how they work, etc. I want to get into modding my bimmer, so I figured a tune up was a good place to start. Can anyone tell me what I should to to tune my car up? I already changed the oil, so that part's taken care of.

front control arms, rear shock mounts, front upper strut bearings, new shocks possibly, your springs are probably fine, unless you want to replace those also. but shocks would be good because if they are teh originals from 85, it would be wise to replace them. that would be good for tune up deals. oh, and getting a new water pump or radiator.

rims/tires
springs
strut bars
sway bars
maybe new seats
JC chip
cams
differential
steeing wheel? ///M?
exhaust
headers
new airdams

heh, my bad, make it sticky, I guess you could, thats up to MrM3. he can choose. its not too insane, like the 'help buyin and E30' one, that was good. this one, i dunno, i dont think its worthy, unless mrm3 wants to make it that way.

My dad's sitting here laughing at the fact that I want to beef up my car "son, it's a four cylinder" he'll see.

son its a 4 cylinder

LOL. E30 M3 is a 4 cylinder, and that thing hauls. but you can do lots to 4's and make em fast. first Formula cars based on 2002 model were based on their 4 cylinder engines, and pulled 1000hp for the first time.
