how to take out the blower??

hey guys, the blower on my 325ix(1991) just stopped working. The problem started a couple of weeks ago when the blower wouldn't start by itself. I had to hit it to get it running, but at the end it started sounding like it was losing power till it finally stopped. I took out many parts from the dash to check it but it's really hard to get it out. Anyone had done this before, is there an easier way than taking out all the dash??

Really need some input in this, here in PR is really hot so I need to solve this ASAP

thanks

Open your hood, on the firewall you'll see a panel, remove the 4 screws and take out the panel. You'll see two plastic straps, carefully unbutton them and turn them out of the way. (be gentle, they break easily) remove the blower cover and there it is, there is a tension strap on the motor and will need to unhooked. pull it out and unplug the two wires. It takes a bit of a squeeze to get it past the manifold, take your time and don't rush.
