The 2 emblem that are on the hood and the trunk look like crap is there a way to remove them or do i have to rip them off or some thing could there be any screws on the back?

ITs not screwed in, they basically get pushed into these 2 rubber "grommets", thats how it holds..


To take em off...it might be easy or it might not...all depending if they're sorta clean or pretty crusted in...

Using a flat screw driver covered with some fabric could lift it slightly...just pry it around...eventuall you'll get enough of it up to just pop it out...

just take it easy...it should come out eventually.

OK, the best tool is the cheapest.

A piece of plastic banding slipped under the edge and then pulled up.

Works everytime.

a screw driver will kill your paint job if you slip

True...Kc had it best i think...slim plastic tool or whatever would work..

one it lifts it should some out....and lifting from different parts is important...if you pop it cleanly you can re-use the grommets and just slide the new emblem in....

having the emblem pegs BREAK in the grommets is whack...you can't do anything but push them in, if it's the ones on your trunk
