High Idle

Okay i have a problem. I cleaned out the idle air stab. valve, and now it idles at 1500. used to idle perfect..i started to turn the adjusting screw and it seems like nothing happens no matter how i turn it. Bought a tester to check the current reading and adjust it but i need some advice on how to use the tester in this situation...its supposed to register between 400-500Ma what do i set the tester to? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

how is ur exhaust? if u have a fault gasket or a hole in ur exhaust, the o2 sensor will raise the engine RPM so that the pressure in the exhaust will be greater
