HESITATION DURING ACCELARATION

Sometimes, as I change gear and am accelerating, there is a slight hesitation and the car goes again. Not a misfire. No sounds or anything, but just a hickup and there she goes.
I'll be replacing my fuel filter this week. Could it be a clogged fuel filter or something else?

just do an electric system rebuild if you havent dont it in a while...(cap, rotor, plugs wires check the coil) then fuel filter and run some injector cleaner...shouldtake care of it...my eta always had a flat spot in the middle of the power band till i got ECU...common thing with ETA's
