Here's another ignorant one (Shift Knob)

Hi again all,

Well, I pulled my nasty looking shift knob off (ignoring warnings and smacking myself square in the nose.)

Since the knob doesn't screw on, like every other shift knob I've ever seen, do the aftermarket "Universal" knobs work?

Some of them are much nicer than the original anyway, so I thought I'd ask.

The aftermarket "universal" knobs will work if they've got setscrews instead of the Honda-style threaded setup.

the shift lever is uasally wider then most universal knobs. I have just had to press and twist, and jam it on there, if you do it good enough, you prob will never get it back off, if you don't it will fly off while powershifting into 3rd, your hand will punch the console, and if your real lucky, your face will hit the stearing wheel.

TAKE MY WORD FOR IT!!!!!!!! THIS WILL HAPPEN!!!!
