alright dude, ive got a 325i e30 1990,shes got 16inch rims with 205/45 tyres.ive had new discs and pads etc which made a big difference when brakin, but on certain road surfaces i get wheel wobble too.i put it down to "tram lining"and its at about the same speed 45/50mph.sorry cant give you no tech advice but your not alone!!!!
OK OK OK, no disrespect to any of you guys but let me answer this the right way. You have just inherited a design flaw that all e21 have. The problem lies in the front sway bar to the control arms, the design forgot to add a damper bushing to absorb the very famous 55mph shimmy that all e21 owners encounter. The good news is that this is very fixable at a very cheap price. Check out Bavarian Auto for the ANTI-SHIMMY KIT, its 20 bucks! It will take you about an hour to install and if you know how to turn a wrench then you can fix this no problem hands down. Hope this helps and this will definetly fix your problem
hi yall i have a 1990 318i e30 i have a simular problem my car shakes between 95mph and 105mph and its getting really annoying
