Help on over fueling problem

Hi, i tryed the search but it did not find much.

My car is a E30 316i 1990

and has a problem of over fueling when starting from cold, after a short while it clears and everything is fine.

I have replaced the ECU temp sender but it has not helped. Other people have said possibley the air flow meter is at fault.

Has any one had the same problem?

The cold start injector could be running for too long. Pull the injector and measure the out put against what is in the Bentley manual.

Cheers for the reply Mach but but the M40/B16 engine does not use a cold start injector system.

Any other ideas ?
