Help Ignition Problem

Hello all, so lets get to the point. On my E30 I can't get the ignition key to turn past accessories. It turns to unlock the steering wheel and turn on the radio but goes no further. Please help?

Thanks i think i fixed the problem. it may just be temporary and may jam up again but I just took off the ignition switch and forced the cylinder to turn. since then its been working fine but it seems too easy and too good to be true so I am expecting it to jam up again some time in the future. until then wish me luck and hope it doesn't get jammed when i stop at a rest stop in Virginia on my way to florida. lol
