So i just bought a set of BBS wheels for my e30 and now im looking for the 4 lug to 5 lug adapter....I know there are hub swaps but I dont want to do that....I'm new to buying wheels....I'm not sure the offset...here are some numbers stamped in the rim 8Jx16H2 IS 23........RZ469....1182277
where do i get them and how much do they cost?

The wheels sound like a 16X8. Which means theyre 16 inches diameter by 8 inches wide. Ill bet they are 5X4.5 or 5X5.5 lug nut spacing. Make sure your adapters you get dont have alot of offset either, otherwise itll make your car look a lil tacky.
The E30 is a 5 lug bolt pattern. If the rims are 5x4.5 why do you need the adapter?
Maybe later model e30s before they phased them out, but ones like this guy's and mine are 4 bolt. Anyway a good place to look for them is probably ebay. If not, go to tire shops and ask around. Ill bet they arent to expensive. You just wanna watch out for that offset.
