Help! 325i vs 735i...which do I get???

I have the opportunity to purchase one of three BMWs. One is a 1990 325i with a 5-speed and 145k miles. The others are 88 (270k miles) and 87 (150k miles) 735s. I don't know what type of transmission the 735s have, although I am aware of a manual being offered in the 88 735 (*crosses fingers). My question is, which of these would you recommend?

Well I'm 6'3", so interior room is an issue for me. I like the sportiness (especially the manual tranny) in the 325, but the 735 sounds like a great, luxurious ride for driving around friends in (especially my female friend, who is a "classy dame," as they say). I'm really quite torn, and haven't had much experience with either model, so here I am...

I'd go for the 735i. I've owned one and it was awesome. I sold it and bought a truck . I'm gonna get another one early 2004.
