Ok when i got the car week ago i new it was going to be some work seeing how i got it for 800$ well its a 1984 318i and at first when i was driving it would accelerate on 3rd and 4th wierd it would go slow go slow go slow while foot on gas, But then i peeled out with it and the accelerater wouldnt even go up it would just sit there and not do anything then it wouldnt start for about an hour and now when it starts it will barely move without boggin out (not drivable past 5 mph) any ideas please i need the car running for thursday first day of school lol.... MATT

OK you kinda lost me in your description...

So youre basicly saying the car has like no power? Did this start happening the moment after you did the burnout?

As always, check the basics first. Spark plugs, plug wires, cap and rotor, vacuum hoses, do a compression and cylinder leakdown test to make sure your internals are ok...

Found out the problem the guy who had the car before me thought u didnt need a fuel filter so where the hoses usually meet the filter were just connected together running straight fuel to the engine clogging the injectors and hoses..

glad u found out the problem. next time check your punctuation & run-ons... i know that makes my car run like total dog crap

































actually lack of punctuation & run-ons really just makes me sound dumb & unintelligible... and from the looks of it, it seems to do the same to other people, too

check your converter may it is plugged start it up and put your hand behind the exhaust pipe to see if there is an adeqate amount coming out.
