| heator removal
the two shop manuals i have for my 82 320i (haynes and chilton) are not very descriptive in the task of removing the heater core. i have also checked alldata. do i have to to remove the panel that holds the switches for my head/foglights. and on the center console vent directly above the heater/A/C controls there is toggle switch which moves up and down to open and close all vents. i have been able to remove the the cap on it but i am unable to remove that panel because that switch is still connected to the outlet vent as well as the open/close door. the wheather is cold and getting colder. any help on removing the heater core and removing the panel would be much appriciated.
