Any ideas what is up with my Headlights being so wierd? when I put it into gear they sometimes turn the brights on by themselves, and while driving ALL 4 of the headlights short out fairly often. Could just be me but i swear it first starts if im going up a hill. If I get out, pop hood ,and smack the whole fuse box, they come right back on... go down the road a little bit and they die again.

If you can hit the fuse box and they come back on then I would check the headlight relay first. Then I would check to make sure that the fuse isn't loose (if you have an older BMW then you know what I'm talking about). And if that is okay then you probably have a bad conection somewhere in your fuse box. It's fairly easy to fix loose or bad conections in the fuse box.

cool. I dont think its just a fuse those cause i think theres 4 fuses for all the headlights. its an 82 320i E21

edit: Unrelated but still about relays... is the horn relay under the dash or something? my horn worked when I bought car but not anymore, doesnt react at all when i push the buttons...

The horn relay should be in the fuse box with the rest of them. But if not then yes it is more than likely behind or under the dash.
On a different topic, my first BMW was a white '83 320i. I loved it! It was a great little autocrosser! If you wouldn't mind I would love to see some pics of your car! Let me know what you find out with the lights and the horn!
